Dominates race from first lap for 9th win of season

Max Verstappen produced a domonant driving display to claim his 9th victory of the season after leading from lap one at the FORMULA 1 QATAR GRAND PRIX 2024.
It was another race win for the newly crowned 2024 FIA Formula 1® Drivers' World Champion as he cruised to victory at the Lusal International Circuit. Verstappen started the race in P2 but didn't waste any time in getting himself to the front - taking the lead from George russell on the first corner. From there on in the Dutchman showed his class and led from the front for the remainder of the race. The victory is his ninth this season and takes him to 429 points, 80 clear of second placed Lando Norris with just one more race to go this season.

Es war ein weiterer Rennsieg für den frischgekürten FIA Formel 1®-Fahrer-Weltmeister 2024, der auf dem Lusal International Circuit souverän zum Sieg fuhr. Verstappen startete das Rennen auf P2, verlor aber keine Zeit, um an die Spitze zu gelangen – und übernahm in der ersten Kurve die Führung von George Russell. Von da an zeigte der Niederländer seine Klasse und führte für den Rest des Rennens von der Spitze aus. Der Sieg ist sein neunter in dieser Saison und bringt ihn auf 429 Punkte, 80 vor dem zweitplatzierten Lando Norris, wobei in dieser Saison nur noch ein Rennen aussteht.
