Pierre Gasly claimed his first podium since 2021 at the FORMULA 1 DUTCH GRAND PRIX 2023.
The Frenchman ma have started the race in P12 but made the most of the chaotic weather to return to the podum for the first time since Baku 2021. An expert tyre strategy and some cleaver driving in toigh conditions meant that Gasly soon made his way up the order and put himself in contention for a podium. The BWT Alpine F1® Team driver crossed the finish line in P4 but Sergio Perez's five-second penalty meant he was bumped up to P3 to return to the podium. An excellent result for the impressive Gasly and the BWT Alpine F1® Team.

Der Franzose war von Platz 12 ins Rennen gegangen, nutzte aber das chaotische Wetter aus, um zum ersten Mal seit Baku 2021 wieder auf dem Podium zu stehen. Eine geschickte Reifenstrategie und ein geschicktes Fahren unter schwierigen Bedingungen führten dazu, dass Gasly sich bald nach oben kämpfte Ordnung und kämpfte um einen Platz auf dem Podium. Der Fahrer des BWT Alpine F1® Teams überquerte die Ziellinie auf P4, doch die Fünf-Sekunden-Strafe von Sergio Perez bedeutete, dass er auf P3 vorrückte und auf das Podium zurückkehrte.
