Franco Colapinto scored his first points in Formula 1® with an exceptional drive that saw him claim P8 at the FORMULA 1 GRAN PREMIO D'ITALIA 2024.
It was a weekend to remember for the talented Argentine rookie, who got his first taste of Formula 1® points in only his second ever Formula 1® race. Colapinto started the race in P8 and produced an impressive drive to hold onto that position and claim four points for Williams Racing. He became the first Argentine to score points for Williams Racing since Carlos Reutemann at the 1982 South African Grand Prix. There is little doubt that the 21-year-old is an exciting talent with a bright future ahead of him.
